What Goes Where: Disconnection Point Kit

The Disconnection Point Kit
The Inverter
- The Shutdown Procedure Label- Located adjacent to or visible from the equipment to be operated in the event of a shutdown e.g. Inverter
- The Shutdown Procedure Warning Label- Located directly below the shutdown procedure
- PV Array D.C. Isolator- Attached to the Load Break Disconnection device in a prominent location
- Inverter A.C. Isolator- Located on the AC Isolator adjacent to the inverter
The Switchboard
- PV DP Label- 100mm Circular Green reflective label to be located on or immediately adjacent to the main meter or switchboard
- Warning This Premises Label- Located on the outside of the meter box or main switchboard, only required in VICTORIA
- Warning Multiple Supplies Label- Located in the switchboard to which the Inverter is directly connected
- Inverter Location- Located in the switchboard if the inverter is not immediately adjacent to the switchboard
- Main Switch Inverter Supply- Located in the switchboard to which the Inverter is directly connected above the main switch for the inverter
- Main Switch Grid Supply- Located in the switchboard to which the Inverter is directly connected above the main switch for the grid supply
- Off Peak Main Switch/ Hot Water Main Switch- Located in the switchboard to which the Inverter is directly connected
The Roof
- Warning PV String Disconnection Label- Attached to the PV Module or racking within 300mm of the disconnection point
- Disconnection Point Cable Labels- Attached to both the positive and negative cables within 100mm of the disconnection point
- Ceiling Label- Located adjacent to the access point for the ceiling or floorspace where solar cables are present
