The 25mm Inspection Tee from PV Connections is a conduit tee fitting with an accessible inspection point, allowing installers and maintenance crews to check cable condition, pull new cables, or inspect connections without needing to dismantle the conduit run. The third opening of the tee serves as the inspection access point and can be capped when not in use.

Inspection tees are placed at strategic points along conduit runs where future access is likely to be needed — near junction boxes, at direction changes, or at points where cables may need to be replaced or added later. For solar installations, they’re a practical addition that makes ongoing maintenance and system upgrades much easier.

Is Solarflex compliant with regulations?

The Solarflex conduit is fully marked to AS61386 and is now also underground compliant. All DC power cables used in our solar conduit are compliant to IEC62930. Besides that, Solarflex is also heavy-duty, UV resistant and made in Australia.

Bayswater is a bit of a drive for me so I go when I need said items. Like the multi hole glands. They are inadequate at my local suppliers so I pick up a box when I'm in the area. The one thing I don't like is the price of the labels. As I said, they are up to date with ever changing standards but that contributes to pricey custom made labels. Hard to work around I guess.
